I turned to 77 today, 23 February, and this happened to be the 61st birthday of our Emperor. This is why it is a national holiday in Japan. In the Japanese custom and calendar, we are supposed to celebrate the long age at 60, 70, 77, 80, 88, 90, 99, 100, etc.
