According to the Asahi Newspaper, Peter Brooke, internationally acclaimed drama producer, died at the age of 97. As the Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he directed in Japan a legendary production of A Mid-summer Night’s Dream on a purely blank stage with a swing, which immensely influenced the theatre-goers.
